Tiberias is a historical city which is located in northern Israel, the Lower Galilee. The city is situated beside the sea of gallilee and the unit area. The city was founded in 20 AD, and be called the name of the Roman emperor Tiberius. Especially sacred place in Christianity and pilgrims come to Israel due to the work of the Holy Christ in the city and region. Bihor history, the city is considered one of the four holy cities in which most of it concentrated the Jewish people in the Middle Ages.
Tiberias is one of the popular sightseeing in the Holy Land and are in over 100 hotels a variety of different levels. Visited the city in 2011 over two million tourists, most of them Christians Catholics and Ortodoks.
Easy access to the city due to paved highways recently, both from the west and from the south and serves a convenient route for tourists coming from the area of the Dead Sea and Jerusalem. Transportation within the city is less convenient due to the density of vehicles and tourists bound the number of individual places and especially the boardwalk, Birdie and area hotels.
